On Monday Sept, 11th, from 6:30-8 pm The School of Global Studies is hosting a night of prayer focused on the nations. This event will be held in the word and worship center. “The School of Global Studies welcomes all of NCU to a time of prayer and worship time for the entire University! Bring a friend, floor, and your willingness to pray for the nations of the world, both near and far,” – Professor Zarns

 

 

On Thursday Sept. 14th, Carlson Hall will be hosting the Carlson Hall Patio Party from 7 pm – 10 pm! “A gathering for the residents of Carlson Hall to foster community and introduce the “Four Pillars” of Carlson Hall. There will likely be live music and food served, but we have not yet set the menu. I will work with Nicole from Sodexo to develop a menu that is served by her team or compliant with the NCU/Sodexo contract. Please let me know if you have any questions or feedback. Don’t miss NCU’s Got Talent on Friday September 15th at 7pm! Led by SAC (The Student Activities Committee), this event is sure to be a riot. Each year, students sign up to sing, dance, and perform skits in front of a panel of judges. Prizes are awarded for the top-voted contestants! SIGN UP TO PERFORM HERE!

 

On Thursday Sept. 21st, the Black Student Union will be hosting a cookout on the Carlson Patio starting at 6pm! ” This event will represent the traditional black cookout. We will be partnering with Northwestern and inviting Bethel. At this event, we hope to have one food truck providing food. Sodexo will also be providing drinks as well as food for the chocolate fountain . We will have a Dj that we would like to have them set up on Carlson parking ramp,” – Aleysha Will
