Creations of the Created: An Art Show

November 6, 2023

Calling all creatives! On November 9, 2023, North Central senior Klaire Turney will hold an art show in the T.J. Jones Library called Creations of the Created, and you can be a part of it!

Creations of the Created is an art show that is meant to bring artists throughout campus together. Since God is the Creator, and we are created in the image of God, that means that we too can create! This event will be a beautiful and powerful time of appreciating our peers’ talents and gifts that God has given them.

So, how do you get to attend this awesome art show? Good news! Anyone is able to walk through the showcase in the T.J. Jones Library! On November 9th at 7:30pm, the show will begin on the second floor.

Something that is super cool about this event is that anyone with artistic abilities are allowed to submit their work to be displayed. Whether you paint, write, draw, sculpt, do photography, do videography, or anything else at all, they are all able to be submitted to this art show. In addition to this, art does not have to be specifically created as “Christian” work, so if it does not have a Christian focus, though it definitely can if you would like!

If you (or even one of your friends) are interested in submitting your work for the Creations of the Created art show, go to the front desk at the T.J. Jones Library or the Phillipps Hall RD office to pick up your submission form before November 3rd. This is a fantastic way to showcase the work you have done and the gifts that God has given you in an awesome space with other creative people!

If you've got creative talents and would like to share your art with others, this is the perfect opportunity for you!
