SOFTBALL
On Saturday Apr. 9, the North Central University (NCU) softball team faced off with Crown College (CC) in an Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) event. Two days later, NCU headed up to Makato for another doubleheader, this time against UMAC opponent Bethany Lutheran College (BLC). BLC bested the Rams in both games with scores of 10-1 and 8-0. NCU’s doubleheader with the University of Wisconsin-Superior scheduled for yesterday, Apr. 12, was rescheduled due to rain. LACROSSE
The NCU lacrosse team lost two games last weekend, 18-0 to Cornell College and 23-4 to Monmouth College. Although the Rams are winless on the season, the four goals in the Monmouth game were encouraging to see as the program continues to build back up. The goals were from freshmen Jackson Smith and Corey Evers. NCU competes in their first UMAC contest at the University of Northwestern this Wednesday, Apr. 13 at 4 p.m.. Then the Rams travel north to play in another UMAC event against Northland College this Saturday, Apr. 16 at 5 p.m.

BASEBALL
The baseball team tried to push back their games in hopes that the weather would cooperate, but it unfortunately never did and the Rams were unable to take the field. NCU did have hopes of playing the University of Northwestern yesterday, Apr. 12, but the weather yet again did not cooperate. That game has already been rescheduled for today, Apr. 13, at Northwestern at 5 p.m. Next, the Rams have a whole slew of games starting Friday, Apr. 15 at Martin Luther College at 3 p.m. The following day NCU continues the UMAC matchup with games at 2 p.m. and 5 p.m.
