NCU Seniors Prepare to take their final finals
By: Zach Lemmon
Spring is a word most Minnesotans have trouble defining. Does it imply warm weather, blossoming flowers, woodland critters jumping to-and-fro? For most of the world, yes. But for North Central University seniors it means one thing: Graduation!
As the semester comes to an end, graduating Student body Vice President Emelie Caldwell reflects on her time at North Central. “My favorite memory from my time at North Central was the relationships I formed; I established some life-long friendships. I am so thankful for my professors who have pushed me to work harder and achieve more than I ever have in the past. I have truly grown into a person I am proud to be and that’s all thanks to NCU.”
Students play a significant role in the lives of the 2019 graduates. Our shared memories, classes and dorm life create a special experience for seniors remembering their time at North Central.
For many seniors, graduation will allow them to finally dive into the career field they have been studying for. For some it may be pursuing higher education. For graduating Marketing major Nora Sullivan it means making headway in her career.
“Through great mentorship from professors I was able to create an amazing resume and portfolio that landed me a position as a Marketing and Enrollment Specialist. I start the week after graduation” said Sullivan.
If you would like to be in attendance for the 2019 Commencement Ceremony it will be Friday, May 3rd at 2:30pm. Located at Cedar Valley Church in Bloomington MN.
